AIRO's Acoustics Laboratory was opened in 1959
as the first purpose built commercial testing station to be operated
in the United Kingdom. The laboratory facilities are ideally
suited to obtaining reliable acoustical test data under controlled
conditions, for a variety of applications. AIRO is free from
associations with manufacturing interests in noise control products,
and our reports and test certificates are widely accepted as authoritative.
Tests can be carried out on a wide range of items such as Building
Components, Industrial and Mobile Plant, Air Handling Equipment,
Domestic Appliances and Electro-Acoustic Products. With a wealth
of testing experience available, our laboratory staff will be pleased
to discuss potential clients' requirements for measurements.
AIRO is accredited as a UKAS testing laboratory No 0483 for a range of acoustical measurements in the
laboratory and on-site.
