
Acoustical Investigation & Research Organisation Ltd (AIRO)
is a long established specialist acoustical consultancy firm, with extensive
laboratory facilities. Our personnel are involved with a diverse range of
projects including building acoustics, environmental noise assessments, sound
insulation design and measurement, transportation noise measurement
and mapping, industrial and commercial noise impact appraisals, planning
and noise issues, occupational noise surveys and mitigation, electro-acoustic
applications and expert witness work.
At present (February 2008) AIRO does not have any staff vacancies, but when
opportunities arise they will be posted on this page.
According to requirements at the time, applicants may be considered at various
levels including technicians, graduate entrants and experienced consultants.
Relevant qualifications and experience would be specified, but are likely to
follow the Institute of Acoustics’ TechIOA, AMIOA and MIOA grades respectively.
Applicants would be expected to hold a full driving licence in order to facilitate
attendance at site work.
